HCIHM | Holy Cross / Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish

Thank you to all who participated, contributed and made March 8th a memorable evening of fun and friendship. After motivating the parish staff with your support and encouraging contirbutions. we are now working to prepare almost 30 youth for summer employment. While some youth are still applying, already we are meeting with 25 young people, ages 14-21, each week to teach social skills and design their summer jobs according to their talents and interests. Other youth who are now applying willa ttend a special orientation and workshop. The youth will be working in areas of neighborhood clean-up, maintenance, recreation mentoring and educational tutoring, arts and the older ones will consider work at other business sites.
