Blanca Sauceda lights a candle for prayer for over 60 catechists who recently participated in a special orientation to prepare for the new CCD year. The year of Religious Education begins for elementary school age children Saturday, September 18th. The classes for adolescents will be reduced to class sizes of 10 students, helping to give more attention to the kids in their faith formation.

Meanwhile SPRED (Special Religious Education Department) teachers are currently being prepared to begin classes soon for those with special needs.

RCIA and RCIA for teens is now under way for adults and young adults preparing their sacraments. The Parish works year round to encourage adults interested in their faith development.

Children from the CCD program, young people involved in the R.C.I.A., as well as catechists present several stations and pray for the needs of the poor during Holy Week last year.
