I would like to extend a special invitation to become a Padrino!   Experience the immense satisfaction of making a difference in the life of a young person. A Padrino holds a special meaning in the Latino culture. It means godparent or sponsor, one who plays a special role in the life of a child.

We have many children in the Back of the Yards community of Chicago who are at risk of not having the only after school program available to them in their neighborhood. In 2015, the Casa Romero After-School Programs lost significant funding due to the budget crisis in the State of Illinois. Yet, the community perseveres and doesn’t give up. We must keep Casa Romero open for the sake of these children and we can do so with your help. Become a Padrino today and help make a difference!

On March 4, 2016 we are hosting a fund raising event to help raise funds for this very important program. Please join us for a night full of fun and hope to raise funds for the Casa Romero After-School Programs. The evening includes dinner, cocktails, live music, and an intriguing silent auction with items ranging from sporting event tickets to spa retreats to artwork.

3. Attend our event. The more the merrier, so invite all your friends.

All donations are tax deductible and as an esteemed donor, you will be recognized in the “PADRINOS” program book for all of our attendees to see.
