During the last two years the Finance Council has been instrumental in looking for ways to reduce our debt to the Archdiocese of Chicago. In March 2008 ,we received a letter from Cardinal George agreeing to reduce our debt every year by a fourth if we balance our budget and pay all our bills to the Archdiocese of Chicago. Currently, we have eliminated our debt to the Archdiocese and continue to work on the challenge of paying our debts and taking care of our buildings.
